Summer “Mini-Semester” at the Alexandria School of Highland Dance
Learn to dance this summer! The Alexandria School of Highland Dance is now enrolling for its Summer “Mini-Semester,” running from May-June 2026. This is the perfect opportunity for your child to try out Scottish Highland dancing before committing to a full semester. We’re now accepting new dancers in the following classes:
- Primary (ages 4-6): learn the fundamental positions, steps, and skills of Highland Dance through creative movement
- Beginner (ages 6.5+): the perfect introduction to the most famous Scottish dances, the Highland Fling & the Sword Dance
We accept dancers of all genders and experience levels, and you definitely don’t need to be Scottish to fall in love with Scottish dancing! Classes are held in Del Ray on Sunday afternoons. Learn more and register today at Home
