| The Little Theatre of Alexandria (LTA), the oldest award-winning community theater in the Washington metro area, is delighted to announce its 2026/2027 season — a seven-show lineup that opens with a special cabaret production and spans comedy, drama, and musical theater.
Season Opener: Still We Rise
The season launches June 12 with Still We Rise: A Broadway Cabaret to Celebrate America’s 250th (June 12–21, 2026).
The 2026/2027 Main Season
Catch Me If You Can (July 18–August 8, 2026) opens the main season.
Blithe Spirit (August 29–September 19, 2026) follows with Noël Coward’s classic comedy.
A Classic Musical (October 17–November 7, 2026) A beloved romantic musical with sweet treats and mishaps.
A Christmas Carol (December 5–19, 2026) LTA’s beloved holiday tradition returns!
Once on This Island (February 6–27, 2027) is a Tony Award-winning musical set in the French Antilles.
The Pitmen Painters (April 3–24, 2027) is Lee Hall’s acclaimed true-life drama about a group of coal miners in 1930s northeast England.
The season closes with Calendar Girls (May 22–June 12, 2027),
Special Events
LTA will also present a staged reading of Eureka Day (January 13–14, 2027) and A Night of One Acts (January 18, 2027).
