Mark your calendar for January 24 at 8:00 PM and immerse yourself in the world of theater at Galactic Panther for a triple treat of captivating performances.
Writer-director Dolly Shenandoah Lee presents three intimate, character-driven works that explore the emotional terrain of love, identity, and self-reckoning. Each play stands alone, yet together they form a vivid portrait of what it means to confront ourselves in the presence of others — to bruise, to mend, and to begin again. Every piece in this trilogy centers LGBTQIA+ stories and features people of color in every cast, with all queer roles portrayed authentically. Brought to life under the thoughtful direction of co-directors Srinija Tummalapally and Matthew Piccolo, these productions find their perfect balance between truth and artistry.

Lagoon is a hardcore band from the DMV area with an EP out across major streaming platforms. They have also performed numerous shows across the DMV area.

Local Comedy Play is Mad About Love – January 31, 2026
Incident XOXO is a fast-paced comedy set in a chaotic research lab where a team of scientists accidentally invent a plant that makes anyone who smells it fall violently, irrationally in love — with the lead researcher. As professional boundaries dissolve and logic gives way to obsession, the lab spirals into jealousy, outbursts, and mayhem. What begins as a scientific breakthrough quickly becomes a hilarious disaster, forcing the team to confront whether love can ever truly be measured, controlled, or cured.
Incident XOXO unfolds as a three-act comedy, with 5–10 minute intermissions between each act. These short breaks give audiences time to refresh drinks, chat, and stay immersed in the playful, romantic atmosphere of the night.
Before the performance begins — and during all intermissions — romantic music will fill the space. Audience members are encouraged to linger, mingle, slow dance, and fully settle into the XOXO mood before returning to their seats. Think flirtation, laughter, and just enough chaos to feel like love might be contagious.
