The 275th Commemorative Intentional Program Grant is funded through a National Endowment for the Arts and the City of Alexandria, VA. The Grant is available to eligible nonprofit organizations. Selected projects will complement the Office of the Arts 275th Commemorative Programs.
The intention is to have a S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), based engagements that demonstrates the intersection of creativity and technology where visitors can view, learn, and interact with the project. Projects will take place at the Maker Faire NOVA event scheduled for October 20, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Chinquapin Park. Rain location will be at the Chinquapin Recreation Center and Aquatics Facility, 3210 King Street, Alexandria, and Alexandria City High School, 3330 King Street, Alexandria, VA.
The projects will occur on October 20. Grants will range from $1,000 – $5,000 per award. NO cash match requirement.
