In honor of our country’s upcoming birthday, Nepenthe Gallery is presenting a first time ever one-day open house with patriotic works of art – all at 20% off! The exhibit will be open on Thursday, July 3rd from 11am to 730pm. There will be an ART+WINE+CHEESE reception from 6 to 730pm in the gallery that evening.
Showcased will be well known American artists such as Cey Adams, NYC mixed media artist known for his red, white, blue, and black mixed media flags; Betsy Enzensberger of resin fame from California; and Pamela Patrick White, historical artist whose work is owned by Mount Vernon.
Local artists featured will include Seana Gallagher and D’Lisa Turner from the Alexandria Plein Air Society; DC acrylic painter and flag lover, Lavin Gartland; US Army veteran and photographer, Todd Key; and Alexandria impressionist and post-impressionist painter, Mehran Rashidfarokhy.
Nepenthe Gallery is located in the Hollin Hall Shopping Center at 7918 Fort Hunt Road in the Fort Hunt neighborhood of Mount Vernon.
