EVERY SUMMER SUNDAY at 3 p.m. from June 8th through August 24th. This will be the 35th year the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic Association’s Ulysses James, Maestro Laureate, has been bringing such music to Alexandria. The Lyceum is located at 201 S. Washington St.
No tickets required; suggested donation is $25. Limited free parking at the Lyceum, but on-street parking in Alexandria is free on Sundays. Open seating on the 2nd floor of the Lyceum.
This is a hidden gem! Enjoy a break from summer chores or hot weather! Savor this intimate musical cultural experience before heading to dinner. Will it be a flute quartet, a cello concerto, a pianist, a baroque violin and lute, or a woodwind ensemble? Mingle with and listen to some renowned musicians. Concerts begin at 3 p.m. and last 60-90 minutes.
